Respected Principal, teachers and students,

"Only a doctor can teach how to love life."

National Doctor's Day is being observed in India on 1st July since 1991, when it was officially instituted by the Government of India. The date was chosen in honor of a legendary physician belonging to West Bengal, Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy.

Dr. Roy also served as the second Chief Minister of the state of West Bengal. This day is celebrated to honor and salute the doctor's dedication, work, loyalty and service to our lives and ultimately, to the nation.

Doctors are given the status next to God because God gives us life, and doctors, in turn, help us to lead that life healthily.

Their contribution to human health is beyond comparison. Doctors Protect and promote the health of patients and the public.

This day is to thank all doctors for their hardwork and commitment, Especially during the ongoing corona virus pandemic.

Without doctors and other health workers, we will not win the battle against Covid19. On top of that, many doctors have even sacrificed their own lives in the line of duty.

Thank you for being on the front lines of care, Thank you for your kindness, dedication and healing touch.

Thank you, doctors, for honoring our lives with your care.

Dear Doctors, you have been on the forefront of the fight against the highly infectious disease. Several doctors have died of the disease while treating patients.

Thank you for your rest less work during this ongoing pandemic. We are deeply grateful to you for all the sacrifices that you and your family doing for our community.

You are the real heroes during the Covid-19 pandemic. We know, you're risking your health to care for our community.
